Joe Kent is a twenty-year veteran of the United States Army. He served in the Special Forces and deployed overseas eleven times. Joe worked for the CIA once his military service ended. His wife Shannon Kent was killed fighting ISIS terrorists in Syria on January 16th, 2019. Joe returned home to the Pacific Northwest to raise his sons. He's an America First candidate for Congress in Washington's Third Congressional District. I met Joe through our mutual friend Matt Smith. Matt is the director of training for Sheepdog Response, a 25-year special operations sergeant major, soon to be Texan and American hero. In a short talk, Joe said something that resonated with me.
