How a 3D Zoetrope works

We filmed our fish animation on a Sony F55 with the strobes running. Most digital cameras use a rolling shutter, and the strobes artefacts filming. The F55 has a global shutter, which prevents these artefacts. There are still compromises, the animation effect is not quite as good as for the human eye, but with the Sony, we can film in
slow motion.
