Why install the JDK?
The Java Development Kit, or JDK, is what your computer or laptop needs to execute Java apps.
Java programs cannot execute on our system without the JDK.
Step 1: Verify whether Java is installed on your computer.
In cmd, type the command: java -version.
Step 2 : Get Java
Get your browser open.

Step 3: Select the executable file and proceed as directed in the video.
After installation, configure the JDK path in Windows 11's Environment Variables section. Here, JAVA_HOME is used to set the JDK bin path under System Variables. The installation would be successful. However, in this video, we will also see how to verify the installation by using the cmd again.
