This installment of our Sensitive Site video series looks at hops and hopyards. The demand for locally brewed craft beer in recent years has made hops a worthwhile specialty crop for some Nebraska producers. However, these plants are quite sensitive to numerous herbicides commonly used in Nebraska's landscape. Learn why hop acreage in Nebraska continues to steadily increase, and why applicators should be careful when applying pesticides anywhere near a hopyard.
