CCT 1790 is a GP18 built by EMD in 1960 originally for the Rock Island as their 1343. The Central California Traction Company purchased the engine from Chrome Crankshaft in 1981, and was a regular engine on the CCT until it was retired in January 2017.
This video showcases the 1790 along the Traction Company mainline between Stockton and Lodi, and switching customers around the Lodi area. Enjoy these wonderful memories of this great locomotive!
