GOLD DUST
The song is inspired by the art of Kintsugi- the Japanese art of repairing broken pottery by mending the areas of breakage with gold.
By embracing flaws and imperfections you can create stronger and more beautiful pieces of art, or symbolically- create fuller and stronger human beings.
This is my third single from my debut album that will carry the same title.
Lyrics:
I want to have two portal gates
With one of them by my side
And the other one in some open field
where I could breath till I'm done
The air that's around me
stopped satisfying my lungs
With an injured vessel comes an injured mind
And that's where I draw the line
I once was broken to pieces
And then was glued with gold dust
My structure then became stronger
But the cracks filled my heart
I wanna take down this warning sign
It shuts down my adventurous side
Today I'll try the forest road
Or at least what's left from the crop
Maybe I'll prefer flowers
Over mountains of bills
And with my new minded portal
I'll make the switch in a blink
I once was broken to pieces
And then was glued with gold dust
My structure then became stronger
But the cracks filled my heart
