King of Swords - Lofi Mix - PIxel Art

I decided to draw my own deck of Tarot cards!
Today we start with some research and then drawing the King of Swords
Screen recorded, 3x speed and added some music, just for you!

Description
=========================

The King of Swords tarot card shows a king who sits on his throne while holding a double-edged sword that points upwards in his right hand. The King of Swords radiates intellectual power, clear thinking, truth, and authority. He understands that power holds great responsibility.
The blue tunic that the king wears is a symbol of his spiritual understanding. The butterflies on the back of his throne are indicative of transformation.

Design Notes
=========================

Description aside, the “King of Swords” invokes two clear images in my mind: The Iron Throne from Game of Thrones and The Empty Throne from One Piece.
I also got the idea to draw “the same thing” for all kings.
I think it would have been interesting, for example, to draw an (empty) Iron Throne made of swords for the kind of swords, wines and planes for the king of pentacles and so on.
However, I don’t think it would have turned out too good, given our resolution, so I set on the Empty Throne instead.
On the throne, the king will be a dark silhouette, I’ll probably keep the blue tunic and have a design similar to Dragon Ball Z Kami's Predecessor.

Oh my God, I just read the “butterflies” part, Empty Throne is such a perfect fit! Will need to add those later
