#SilaLua is an artist, songwriter, and executive producer born in Vigo and raised in Madrid, the city where she currently lives, after spending a few years in London. There, she graduated with honors in Music Production from the University of Westminster (2016–2019).

Her early songs already showcased the conceptual nature of her lyrics and her ability to build a visual and aesthetic universe around her music. These songs gave rise to two EPs – “The Black Door” (2019) and “Vía” (2020) – and several singles, most notably “DÍMELO” (2021), the last one before releasing “ROMPE,” her debut album, which came out on November 4, 2022.

In May of that year, she joined Elliot Moss on his Mexican tour – performing in Mexico City, Monterrey, and Guadalajara. She also participated in several international festivals: ESNS (Groningen, Netherlands), Sound City (Liverpool, UK), The Great Escape (Brighton, UK), and Iceland Airwaves (Reykjavik, Iceland).

Her second album, “Danzas de Amor y Veneno”, was released on January 17, 2025, and premiered that same day at Sala El Sol in Madrid as part of Inverfest. The album explores the duality of life, the light and shadows of emotions, and the clash between dreams and reality. Produced alongside Pau Aymí, “Danzas de Amor y Veneno” is a genre-defying pop record, with a strong electronic foundation and an original blend of major Latin and African musical traditions. Sila Lua also introduces more complex and soft vocal melodies that shine amidst danceable rhythms.

Sila Lua has directed music videos for three of the singles from “Danzas de Amor y Veneno.” One of them, “BRASIL”, directed by La Niña and produced by Smile, has won several international awards: Best Cinematography at the Europe Music Video Awards 2024, and Best Dance Music Video, Best Pop Music Video, and Best Make-Up at the IMVA 2025 (International Music Video Awards).

Sila Lua es una artista, compositora y productora ejecutiva nacida en Vigo y criada en Madrid, ciudad en la que reside, tras unos años en Londres, donde cursó con honores el grado de Producción Musical de la University of Westminster (2016 - 2019).

Sus primeras canciones ya mostraban el carácter conceptual de sus letras y su capacidad para construir un universo visual y estético en torno a su música. Su segundo álbum “Danzas de Amor y Veneno”, se publicó el 17 de enero de 2025 y se presentó ese mismo día en la Sala El Sol de Madrid, como parte de Inverfest. El disco habla sobre la dualidad de la vida, los claroscuros de los afectos y el choque entre los sueños y la realidad. Producido junto a Pau Aymí, “Danzas de Amor y Veneno” es un disco pop sin prejuicios, con una fuerte base electrónica y una original combinación de grandes escuelas de la música latina y africana. Sila Lua también propone melodías vocales más complejas y suaves, que brillan en compañía de ritmos más bailables.

Sila Lua ha grabado videoclips para tres de los sencillos de “Danzas de Amor y Veneno”. Uno de ellos, “BRASIL”, dirigido por La Niña y producido por Smile, ha recibido varios premios internacionales: Best Cinematography en los Europe Music Video Awards 2024, y Best Dance Music Video, Best Pop Music Video y Best Make Up en los IMVA 2025 (International Music Video Awards).
