Here is the bore travelling through Warrington town centre, coming to the end of a three hour journey up the River Mersey. It was filmed on the Park Boulevard Bridge. Both the river and bore are actually much bigger than they look in the video. Apologies for the running commentary from an astonished passer-by.
High tide at Liverpool Gladstone dock: 10.02m at 13:22
The bore came into view at 13:15
