Using the JDXI Manager software, I take a look at sound designing the digital synth using the features of the Roland JD-XI synthesizer. I start with a basic init tone and mangle it into something entirely different!
Small correction in the video: Edit Select buttons: are simply for enabling/disabling which partials are affected by knob movements on the JD-XI itself, they are the equivalent of the '01', '02', '03' buttons on the JD-Xi when in Digital Synth 'Tone Edit' mode, not a way to edit multiple partials at once from the editor.
