When last time we were in Satara and It was a memorable experience for us. In rainy season Satara is best place to visit. you will witness serene beauty all around Satara. All the mountains covered with greenery and fog all the time.
We have visited Kelavali waterfall which is 25-30 km from Satara.
We stayed at Savali village in Satara where we have enjoyed village food, start and rural life which was complete blissful.
Village tourism in Satara has more potential than anything. we can visit any village in Satara and enjoy there. we have almost completed a circle around Urmodi dam which is very scenic place. is
Nature here plays important role. Goverment should concentrate on tourism development. Specially village tourism, homestays, Farm stays which will help locals to grow and earn.
kelavali is must visit places in satara.
