JACOBS LADDER & DRAGONS BACK / IT'S TOUGH!

Today we tackled a classic Peak District loop featuring the iconic Jacob's Ladder and the thrilling Dragon's Back! What started as a mixed ride turned into an e-bike party (I was the lone acoustic rider!) as we conquered over 3500ft of relentless climbing.

The views were absolutely epic, and the technical descents were a blast – especially considering this was the driest I've ever seen the Peak District! Seriously, not a single puddle. While the lack of mud was a novelty, it made for incredibly loose and slippery conditions, particularly on the steep downhill sections.

A few mechanicals and some seriously tired legs meant we had to cut the ride slightly short, but even with the abbreviated route, it was still a fantastic adventure with great company. Get ready for some stunning scenery, tough climbs, and plenty of laughs!
