🔥 First Official Speedrun Double Dragon III on NES 🔥 Just wrapped my very first attempt at speedrunning Double Dragon III on NES using RetroArch and my 8BitDo controller and clocked in at 19:49.28! Update, run was re timed to 19:19, from start of controlling Billy - Loss of control of player after game boss finish.
For context, The Retro Challenger currently holds the #16 spot on the leaderboard at 20:05.00, so I'm considering submitting this run to the community for verification. Even if it doesn't make the cut, it's all good I know there’s plenty of room to tighten things up, and this is just the beginning.
Full controller and hand cam are available for transparency. No cheats, no rewinds—just old-school grit and reflexes. Let the grind begin. 👊
