臺灣大學動物科學技術學系暨研究所簡介 (Department of Animal Science and Technology, NTU)

國立臺灣大學動物科學技術學系，為一兼具教學、研究、實習與休閒等功能之園區，分設大學部及碩博士班，培養具動物科學專長之人才。課程教學與教師研究領域分為動物科學及生產技術兩學群；動物科學領域著重於動物生殖生理、遺傳營養與生物科技，生產技術領域則著重於經營管理、育種統計及機能性生產加工。動科系教師積極參與動物相關研究、推廣與服務工作，鼓勵學生參與校內外社團、體育及學術競賽，盡力提供學生學習、生活與生涯輔導等措施；此外，學系亦鼓勵師生參與國際學術交流以拓展國際視野。畢業生依志趣具多元選擇，於眾多領域嶄露傲人成就。

The Department of Animal Science and Technology of National Taiwan University combines education and research with hands-on experience and leisure activities. The undergraduate and graduate programs are aimed at cultivating experts in animal science. Science curricula and research are focused primarily on animal science and animal-product technology. The animal science emphasis provides in-depth knowledge of the biological and physical sciences including reproduction physiology, genetics, nutrition, and biotechnology, while animal product technology emphasizes business and operational management, breeding statistics, and functional product processing. Faculty members actively participate in animal science research, extension, and industry outreach programs. Students are keenly encouraged to participate in extra-curricular activities such as student clubs, sports and academic contests, as well as utilize the department's life, learning, and career counseling resources. In order to broaden faculty and students' international outlook, school members are encouraged to take part in international conferences. Our graduates are highly sort after in a wide variety of careers and favored for their outstanding contributions.
