The Battle Arena was a tough facility for me due to the fact that you are not allowed to switch. This led to a few losses in the early fights due to unfortunate matchups. I tried different team comps and sets until I settled on Metagross, Latios and Swampert. For this fight in particular, I was mainly worried about Umbreon winning a judge’s decision against my Metagross, leaving to a disadvantageous matchup for my Latios. I knew if I got past Umbreon Latios would clean. Turns out I didn’t need Latios after all!
This concludes my Emerald Battle Frontier Quest! All Gold Symbols has been a long journey and I learned a lot about the game, training, AI habits, and patience when things didn’t go my way. Platinum Frontier next! Thanks for watching everyone!
