Vortex 250 Pro - Part2 Setup and OSD Settings Walkthrough | RCSchim

You see almost in real time how easy you setup the radio (ok I had some minor issues with my receiver) and you hear the sound of victory (Imperial March after TX Setup completed) and I show all the menu options. Really straight forward - most items are self explanatory.

3 Profiles available (so you can have 3 presets and choose with which to fly (eg. different styles, battery weight...)
you can fine tune your PIDs here but you can also load pretuned settings from pilots that really understand what they do :-)
►►►ATTENTION: if you update FC firmware to current versions - PIDs from Pros wont work well anymore - because PIDs influence changed...

Game mode?
They use the Barometer to give you more score if you fly low. Since you have no GPS the mode doesnt know how long one lap on your track takes - so you fly a few rounds and enter the average lap lenght in here. No accurate - but can be fun if you wanna "low flying high scoring challenge" here :-)


►Quick Tipps:
LED Board button
Press 2sec to change VTX BAND
Press 5sec to enther TX Setup Wizard

Arm Motors Throttle=0, YAW=right
Disarm Throttle=0, YAW=left
Enter OSD Throttle=0, YAW=left (while Motors are disarmed)
(if you cant arm or dont get into the menu: try trimming yaw more to right or left - your stick "servo-way" is not 100% - set rates on your radio to 100% and repeat the TX Wizard!)

►►GPS Support?
Immersion told me, if you use a "supported" GPS ezOSD will use it and show speed and distance. Anyone already tried this?
I'll see if I can get more info on this...
