Hello and welcome to my new channel and my first Z4 specific video.

Here I show you all about the brand new Android touchscreen add-on for iDrive and non-iDrive e89 Z4's.


Please note that if you currently have an iDrive system then you simply remove your current pop-up screen and then connect this touchscreen panel. You will still have all the functions your current screen gives you, without touchscreen capability, but with the addition of the added features that Android can give you. Control of the extra features is via touchscreen, the iDrive controller or your steering wheel controls.
If you don't currently have iDrive, don't worry you have the option of buying the new iDrive specific controller that fits into the original location, as I have done in this video, if you don't want the controller then you still have your steering wheel controls and the touchscreen.

You'll need a set of trim removal tools (plastic)
And the Torx bits I used were T8 & T15 and and any cross head screws I used PZ2 bits for.
