Chemar Holder Training Camp Relocates to the UAE - Breaking News!

I made a mistake…

I recently announced that the Chemar Holder Training Camp was over.

And it was...

But, I forgot to add three words, “in the U.K”.

Chemar burst onto the international scene as one of the most exciting fast bowling prospects in the Caribbean!

A shoulder injury then sidelined him for over two years.

He reached out to SpeedCamp (via Carlos Brathwaite) in a desperate attempt to return to bowling and competitive cricket.

He landed in the U.K at the start of August.

We assessed him. We made a plan. We got to work.

Everything has gone to plan. In fact, it’s gone better.

So much so, that we couldn’t risk losing the momentum and progress that we’ve made over the last month or so.

With the seasonal change taking place in the U.K, we had to make some critical decisions.

On a personal note, this entire move is a reflection of my commitment to my athletes. As I say to my children, I don’t believe in being a part time dad. The same applies to my athletes - I don’t believe in being a part time coach.
