Aleksandar Kolovski "Tango-20" Accordion stars - duet "Two Bellows" Aleksandar and Anna Kolovska (Macedonia) play.
Aleksandar Kolovski was born on 09.03.1990 in Skopje (Macedonia) and started playing the accordion at the age of 7 starting the successful co-operation with the teacher Branko Kolovski. He is a one of the most distinguished Macedonian artists of his generation. He started his studies at the Music High School DMBUC Ilija Nikolvski-Luj in 2004 and he finish his high school in 2008 with the highest prize “Klimentina Rafajlovska” for the best young musician of his generation. While he was currently a student at the University of Ss. Cyril and Methodius he was student in the class of professor Zlatko Madevski. Since 2009 he has been improves in France, in the Class of the french professor – Frederic Deschamps. In 2017 he finished his master styding in Anton Bruchner University in Linz, Austria in the class of the professor Alfred Melihar. Apart from his main priority, which is playing classical music, since 2010 he has been studying variete (tango, French music, jazz and so on). He has been recorded by French television 3 in Strasbourg as well as a famous TV Show in Le Mans, and a series of concerts through France in Colmar, Montargis, Monaco, Normandy, and so on. Since 2010 Aleksandar has been a HOHNER artist and is one of the youngest promoters of the model HOHNER fun flash.
During his education,Aleksandar has participated in seminars with famous professors such as Frank Angelis, Vladimir Murza, ,Andreas Nebl and others.
Kolovski is an artist famous for his temperament, virtuosity and impressive technique. In 2011 he won 3 prestigious world championships for classical accordion CMA Tophee Mondiale in Pineto, Italy, Castelfidardo,Italy , Montrond les Bains, France. In 2012 Kolovski won second place on the world competition CMA Trophee Mondiale in senior variete category in Spokane, Washington State(USA).In 2013 he won 1st place in Castelfidardo Italy in senior variete category.
Aleksandar Kolovski, won the prize " Virtuoso " in the category " Young Music Artist " at the ceremony where were awarded a total of nine awards " Virtuoso " for classical music, the various categories that are acknowledged for successes of macedonian artists and music institutions over the past one year . The " Virtuosos " was established in 2012, on the initiative of the Ministry of Culture in Macedonia , SOKOM-Associoation of Macedonian composers, Macedonian Philharmonic and the Macedonian Opera and Ballet . Kolovski got also the prize “Person of the year” by the oldest Macedonian newspaper “Nova Makedonija” in 2013.
In 2018 was start creating the duo „Two Bellows“ with his wife Anna Kolovska what were follow with great success in very short time.
Aleksandar and Anna regulary hold masterclasses, private lessons for bayan and accordion, participate in juries and perform at festivals.
For the last three years they have been living on the route, Macedonia- Austria.

Anna Kolovska was born on October 31, 1996 in the city of Armavir, Krasnodar region. She is associated with music from her childhood and she has always taken part in concerts and competitions. She graduated in the Novokubansk music school in the class of the honored worker of culture of Kuban, Mikhail Boyko, and also graduated in Rostov College of Arts in the class of Honored Artist of Russia Yuri Shishkin. This year she finished here studies in the class of professor Alfred Melichar in the Anton Bruckner University in Linz, Austria. Anna Kolovska is a winner of many international competitions in Russia, Italy, Portugal. She won "Accordion Plus (Rostov-on-Don)" 2012 and 2018, "Citta di Castelfidardo (Itally 2015)", "The 21st national Trophy and 2nd international competition of accordionist (Portugal 2016)" etc.
Anna's repertoire includes works by Bach, Grieg, Mendelssohn, Moshkovsky, Liszt, Lekouona, Shchedrin, Kusyakov, Semyonov, Banshchikov, Molinelli and others, as well as variete pieces and folk music. Her playing is filled with passion, depth combined with artistry, a subtle sound palette and brilliant technique.
In March 2017, she played the world premiere of the new piece “Spleen” by the famous french composer Frank Angelis, dedicated to her. Anna Kolovska performs with concerts in Russia and abroad – Germany (Berlin Philarmonie), Macedonia, Italy, Poland, China, Portugal, Austria, Sicily, etc.
In 2018 was start creating the duo „Two Bellows“ with her husband Aleksandar Kolovski what were follow with great success in very short time. Anna and Aleksandar regulary hold masterclasses, private lessons for bayan and accordion, participate in juries and perform at festivals.
