Highlights from the Two-Day SVI National Conference on “ 𝐒𝐭𝐫𝐚𝐭𝐞𝐠𝐢𝐜 𝐒𝐭𝐚𝐛𝐢𝐥𝐢𝐭𝐲 𝐢𝐧 𝐒𝐨𝐮𝐭𝐡 𝐀𝐬𝐢𝐚 : 𝐑𝐞𝐠𝐢𝐨𝐧𝐚𝐥 𝐒𝐞𝐜𝐮𝐫𝐢𝐭𝐲 𝐚𝐧𝐝 𝐆𝐥𝐨𝐛𝐚𝐥 𝐃𝐲𝐧𝐚𝐦𝐢𝐜𝐬 ” .
The event was held on 26-27 August , 2025.
The Strategic Vision Institute successfully convened a two-day National Conference titled “Strategic Stability in South Asia: Regional Security and Global Dynamics”. The conference brought together eminent panels of scholars, practitioners, and policymakers from across Pakistan to deliberate on South Asian strategic stability amid the contemporary regional and global security environment. While particularly focusing on the South Asian region, the conference fostered constructive and informed discussions on key themes including the impact of the Second Nuclear Revolution on strategic thinking, the evolving contours of nuclear deterrence, Nuclear Arms Control and Non-Proliferation, and Escalation Dynamics, Risk Reduction Measures, and Confidence-Building Mechanisms.
