I’ve spent decades in American soccer. From coaching college athletes at Widener University to working day in and day out with kids in youth academies, I’ve seen every side of the sport. And the older I get, the more convinced I become that the youth soccer system in the United States is deeply, fundamentally broken.

It’s not about producing better players. It’s not about developing talent for the future. Too often, it’s about business models, profit margins, and keeping parents paying.

Futsal Today is a longstanding youth futsal organization that has grown to include multiple programs for aspiring athletes in the NJ region. Central Jersey Futsal hopes to educate parents and guide players into a development pathway that reaches the highest level of international futsal.

Futsal Today Futsal invites players and coaches to compete in the only version of indoor soccer sanctioned by FIFA, the US Soccer Federation, and all major soccer federations around the world.
