Hi everyone! This is a really special trip for me because I finally get to pick up my clothing prototypes. This has been a side project/hobby I've been working on for the past 6 months. It all started with the question, "why are high quality clothes so unaffordable?" That led me down a fashion industry rabbit hole. I consumed all kinds of information out there - pricing strategy, sustainability concerns, fabric composition, raw material costs, the list goes on. My takeaway was that purchasing high quality clothing at a reasonable price is extremely challenging because of retail. I decided to cut out the middleman and go directly to a tailor to have more control over my clothes fabric composition and this evolved into a fun side project. Really excited to show you a sneak peek of what I've been working on so far. :)
