The creek mouths are full of large Speckled Trout along with a few Flounder scattered about. But the Redfish bite has been great the last couple weeks. They’re big and they’re hungry. Top water and suspending twitch baits are working fantastic when the floating grass lets you use them. However, soft plastics are working great so don’t fret about it. The 5 inch baits are great but the 4 inch are working well too. Steinhatchee fishing is a unique experience with vast shallow grass flats and clean clear water this time of year. Come experience it if you can because you won’t regret it
