How To Install A 1" Double Check Backflow Preventer Texas 2022

Every sprinkler system needs to have a backflow device. If you are in west Texas or the panhandle, a double check valve backflow preventer is a good choice if your city allows it. Here you will see how I put schedule 80 1 X12 nipple on each end then install a ball valve for my shut off valve and a Rain Bird DVF valve for my master valve. I also show you how to install the double valve box for the double check.
