When #CrazyRichAsians hit theaters in 2018, I had never felt so seen. Hearing Katherine Ho's Mandarin cover of Coldplay's "Yellow" during the proposal scene was ICONIC.

I never imagined that years later, Katherine would be singing that very song—LIVE—as I walked down the aisle.

Her voice filled the most meaningful parts of our wedding—our Ceremony, First Dance, and Last Dance—and brought a deeply personal soundtrack to a day we'll cherish forever.

Wearing custom cheongsams and ao dais by East Meets Dress, I felt like the truest, most radiant version of myself, celebrating culture, honoring legacy, and carrying my father's love with me in every step.

Everything about our wedding was intentional.

We partnered with AANHPI-owned businesses and dear friends whose talent we deeply respect. And we chose to say "I do" in an exact replica of the East Room of the White House—not just for its beauty, but as a declaration: We belong in places like this. We always have.
