Walt Disney World Vlog | Day 1 | Travel Day BA Club World | Port Orleans Riverside | Disney Springs

Join me as I travel to Walt Disney World in Orlando Florida from London Gatwick UK. In this vlog I fly British Airways Club World cabin, am picked up by a private transfer in Orlando and check into a standard room at Disney’s Port Orleans Riverside resort before heading to Disney Springs for some dinner.

This vlog starts with me driving (with Matt) as I introduce this new series on what is currently the pre-travel day.

As we make our way to Gatwick south terminal, we first stop of to charge our car as we have recently obtained our first EV. It's a large facility at Gatwick South Terminal and is clearly the future of the forecourt! I then show you our hotel for the night - the Bloc Hotel, located within the terminal itself, you cannot get much closer. We pop to Giraffe in the terminal for dinner before heading back to the room.

On travel day, we drop our bags off before heading through security using the fast track lane. Gatwick are using the new scanners meaning I don't have to empty my bags first which is a time saver. I then show you the BA lounge and the food on offer for this morning flight before heading to the plane. Today we are on a full Boeing 777 in seat 1A where I show you the food and around the seat on this plane. Being an older plane, it still have the old club world seat.

Upon arriving into the USA, I am able to use my Global Entry which means skipping all the other lines at security and it took less that 30 seconds to get through. On the other side, we are met my our driver from 'Orlando Transportation by Mike' who, as part of their service, offer a stop off at a supermarket on the way to the hotel. A great way to top up and purchase anything we want for the week (and to bring home).

After arriving at Port Orleans (wow - I love that smell), we make our way to our room in building 26 of an Alligator Bayou room. I am blown away by this room - it was super clean and looked very newly refurbished. I loved everything about our two bed queen room (other than booking a king) - it was all beautifully themed and clean. A little disappointing that the maid service is only every other day, but we had plenty of towels and coffee to last.

The evening is finished by taking the boat to Disney Springs where we enjoyed a walk around and some shopping in the World of Disney, as enjoyed a delicious dinner at D-Luxe Burger where we were able to test our credits as we have the Quick Service Dining plan included in our stay.
