Multi-Storey Building Design using ETABS | Part 1) Modelling

Welcome to The Educational World..!

In this video, we will learn how we can model a multi-storey residential building using ETABS. We will properly use design codes, load combinations according to ASCE/SEI 7-10 standard. This is the first part of ETABS building series, in next parts, we will analyze, design and learn to create drawing sheets for our building.

ETABS (Extended Three-Dimensional Analysis of Building System):
ETABS is an engineering software product that caters to multi-story building analysis and design. Modeling tools and templates, code-based load prescriptions, analysis methods and solution techniques, all coordinate with the grid-like geometry unique to this class of structure. ETABS offers a single user interface to perform modeling, analysis, design, and reporting. There is no limit to the number of model windows, model manipulation views, and data views
