SIMON LE BON, PAM HOGG TALK ABOUT DAVID BOWIE AT THE BRIT AWARDS
As the final few stars made their way up the red carpet for Wednesday night's (24FEB2016) Brit Awards, designer Pam Hogg and musician Simon Le Bon stopped to talk about the late David Bowie.
"It's kind of obvious," said Hogg, referring to the inspiration behind her own and her models barely there outfit.
The star, who designed this year's award trophies, said Bowie was a major influence throughout her works.
"I mean I didn't know he was going to be passing yet I designed all the trophies. I designed the trophies in October, finished them in November. What can I say. I hadn't realized till that point how much he had influenced my work, you can see it through my work and black star, black star for him tonight."
Le Bon, who called himself "one of the biggest Bowie fans there ever was on this planet," said he was looking forward to the Bowie tribute most of all.
"I'm interested to see what they'll do with the Bowie tribute. See how they do that," he said.
"He's a massive reason why I got into music so I'll be really interested to see what they do with that."
Electronic group Major Lazer used the red carpet to send a message to fellow recording artist Adele.
"I want to make a rock record with Adele. So Adele when you watch this hit me up," noted Jillionaire before adding Drake and The Weeknd into the mix.
His message was for the organizers of the Brit Awards.
