How to turn on / off Active Brake Assist in your Mercedes-Benz or Mercedes-AMG

This video will show you how to turn on or off Active Brake Assist. I will also show you change the settings.

I wanted to make this video because I was getting allot of comments asking how to switch this system off. Now this system will always turn back on when you start a new journey because it is a safety feature. I will show you some tips and tricks on how to use this system.

You can use steering wheel button or use the touch screen.

Home button, Settings, Assistance, Collision Avoidance, Active Brake Assist on or off

The car will automatically put the system back on when you start a new journey because it is a safety feature.

Also it might affect your car insurance if you switch this off so you could change the settings instead. You can set it to be Early, Medium or Late by using the cog icon.
