In this video, we complete the hurt and death system for a Godot 2D player controller.
We implement:-
1).Hurt state and death state
2).Hurt box and hit box using Area2D
3).Health and damage system
4).Signal-based health updates
5).Proper state priorities
6).Animation handling for hurt and death
7).Bug fixes and testing
⚠️This video builds on the previous parts of the series and finalizes the core combat and damage logic for a 2D action platformer.
