Nestled in the rural expanse of land between Knutsford and Northwich is the small, peaceful village of Lower Peover.
The quintessential, countryside parish is home to around 400 residents, with two pubs, a church, primary school, nursery and a country store.
It could almost have come straight from a fairy tale - and it even has an enchanted tree that adds to its storybook setting.
The Tree of Imagination is certainly a 'hidden' gem, found tucked away on the corner of Free Green Lane and Broome Lane. According to the accompanying sign, it was crafted in 2015 from the carcass of an old, damaged oak.
The first thing most people would see while passing the sculpture is the roof at the top, which helps to protect the interior from water damage. The roof also contains owl box, a bat box and a nesting box.
But the closer you get, the more noticeable the extreme attention to detail becomes and the more you appreciate the work that's gone into creating this well-loved village attraction.
A canon sits just underneath the roof, presumably ready to defend the tree from thieves looking to steal one of its many beautiful and very tiny ornaments.
A number of doors are located around the trunk, one of which has a sign reminding people to 'please bolt the door' if people are so inclined to try and go inside.
There are also windows, through which you can see the aforementioned small items. Through one pane of glass, a little staircase can be spotted along with a shelf holding a number of miniature books.
Through another window, a little dining room/kitchen, which even has a tiny teapot on one of the tables, surrounded by chairs.
And around the outside there are a number of miniature figures and shells, all adding to the magical scene.
The parish council said the Tree of Imagination was created 'to delight and inspire children and all those who are still young at heart'.
Councillors said it was made possible 'by the support and generosity of the residents of Lower Peover and the surrounding communities'.
