Very recently Alaska was hit with 100 mph winds. Steve Johnson from Supercub.org did a video with an in depth look at different ways to tie down and secure an aircraft. This is a fairly long video with a lot of great information and I recommend anyone planning on adventuring with their aircraft watch the entire video. I show you how I secure my aircraft when I am in remote country (North side of the Brooks Range) you can always count on the wind blowing there.
