Walking Rolling Hills of Wazuka Tea Village on Summer Afternoon | Kyoto, Japan 4K Rural Ambience

Wazuka is a town in southern Kyoto famous for tea. There are a number of beautiful tea fields on rolling hills spread throughout the area. I had planned on walking in a big loop around the village, but as it's mid-summer, the trail along the river was overgrown so I walked back up the hill and through the village as dusk approached. The Wazuka area is somewhat of a tourist attraction and it is the first area I have been to where it is not possible to walk on the access roads alongside the fields. Even from the main roads the tea fields and their green rows are quite nice next to the traditional rustic buildings. I hope you enjoy this hot summer walk through one of Japan's most beautiful villages.
