The mountains by Iztuzu Beach are decorated with awesome rocks. I’m not into rock climbing, but I like to look at rocks and how they add a solid impact to the landscapes. One place that I often like to visit is the hill between the beach and Sulungur Lake. You get lovely views from both the top and the bottom of the hill, which is within easy access from the beach. This clip contains a 360 Degree sequence that covers the full breadth of the beach, the marshland, the river and Dalyan in distance as well as parts of Sulungur.
A drone may have done a better job, but nothing can beat the real joy of finding your way through a maze of rocks and boulders.
A word of caution, there are beehives on the hilltop and plenty of other things that can make your experience quite prickly - be watchful if you decide to go out there. In the meantime, enjoy the scenery and a rock-solid piece of backing music by Alana Jordan.
