An off the cuff lecture about the Ptolemaic Dynasty of Egypt (332-30 BC): Ptolemy I-XV, the Arsinoes, Berenices, and Cleopatras. A very superficial skim over this massive subject from my forthcoming book for Yale University Press (2024) by Guy de la Bédoyère. I have NOT been able to include the complex story of internal rebellions in this talk, especially that by Harwennefer and Ankhwennefer under Ptolemy IV and V - these are fully discussed in the book.
