Eiger (3967 m) Mittellegi Ridge in extreme conditions

Ascent of the infamous Eiger in the Bernese Alps on 2-3rd September 2024 with a fellow mountaineer from the SAC Weissenstein. On the first day, we climbed up to the Mittellegi Hut from the Eismeer station of the Jungfrau railway. On the second day, we ascended the difficult (D) Mittellegi Ridge to the summit and down via the south ridge, which made for a nice traverse. We experienced extreme weather conditions with dense fog and snowfall, so the supposed amazing views were somewhat limited.
