Family day trip to Fossil Creek in Pine, AZ! This is an incredible spot to visit in the crazy summer heat. Don't feel like you need to do the long hike to the falls, especially if you have small kids. We parked at the Waterfall Trail lot and this creekside spot was just a few steps away from our car. Definitely drive in from Camp Verde via I-17 and NOT through Strawberry!! That road in is closed now after the fires.
Ticket reservations open at 8am on Recreation.gov a month in advance and sell out quickly.
