We finally finished building our platform and put the yurt up! We've had a very rainy season and it kept pushing our ability to complete this project back. So even though we're into August, we still plan on opening the yurt up for friends to camp in until late November or until it snows. Obviously we still have to finish up the outhouse and put in camp furniture before doing "opening" it –we'll be sure to make another video about that soon– but for now this feels really good! We might also make this space into a meditation/yoga space for folks to rent. It's such a peaceful part of the pasture.
