3 Stihl Muffler Mods on the Chainsaw Dyno-Real Numbers, No Drama @Houseworksaws @crazyfeller5704 ​

I put three Stihl-style chainsaw mufflers on the dyno to see what actually changes once they are bolted to a real saw.

In this video, I test three different muffler designs, which were sent in by loyal viewers, Houseworksaws and CrazyFeller. This is not a competition; each muffler is built with a different idea in mind, and I wanted to see how those ideas show up on the graph instead of arguing about it on the internet.

I walk through each muffler, look at the inside work, and then run full dyno pulls so we can see the complete curve. If you enjoy shop-floor testing with farmer engineering, a little dry humor, and a host who publicly denies having any sense, you should feel right at home. The results surprised me more than once, and I expect the comments will turn into a friendly debate around the virtual tailgate.
