Lets cover GOAL CELEBRATION RULES.

FIFA Laws of the Game state that goal celebrations are generally allowed and encouraged as a way for players to express their joy and passion for the game.

However, there are guidelines during these celebrations.

Excessive celebration that includes provocative, inflammatory, or aggressive behavior is prohibited.

Players are cautioned with a yellow card if their celebrations escalate to such levels.

Next, overly long celebrations that cause delays or disrupt the flow of the game can result in a yellow card, too.

Removing one's jersey during a goal celebration is also subject to the player receiving a yellow card, according to Law 12.

If a player removes their jersey to reveal slogans or advertising, it is treated as a separate offense, which is usually handled by the league after the game.

Goal celebrations are subject to review by Video Assistant Referee (VAR) technology.

That’s if a celebration involves potential misconduct or unsporting behavior.

In recent years, we have seen the occasional player not leave the pitch with the rest of their team in order to celebrate.

Many memes and posts indicated that the other team could restart play if all the players of the scoring team left the pitch.

However, Law 8 clearly states that all players, except the player taking the kick-off, must be in their own half of the field of play, at kick off.

Therefore, the referee clearly would not allow a kick-off whilst players are off the field celebrating.

Some players choose not to celebrate against their former clubs as a sign of respect.

Also, some players choose not to celebrate because they are still losing on the scoreboard.

So, they do not want to waste precious time.

While there are no specific FIFA rules prohibiting celebrations, there are no rules requiring it either.
