After checking in at The Wall Street Inn, which by the way is my favorite hotel in New York so far, I took a ferry to Staten Island. On the ferry, you get a nice view of the Financial District as well as the Statue of Liberty. Back in the hotel, I contemplated whether or not to go to Times Square for New Year's countdown. It was a nice experience to welcome the new year at Times Square along with thousands of other people.
