Comes with an instruction manual. Looks like here you also get a charging cable. This is definitely a lot cheaper feeling than the one you get with the PlayStation. But right here is what really matters. This is our off-brand PS5 controller. You can definitely feel a weight difference with these, but if we go ahead and pull in a real PS5 controller right here, when you have them lying down like that, you probably wouldn't second-guess it. But when you put it up like this, you can kind of tell something's off. The buttons are a little darker on the official one, whereas the off-brand is glossier. The buttons also feel different—looser on the knockoff.

Biggest giveaway is on the back. You can really feel the difference. The original weighs about 9.7 oz, the off-brand is 7.5 oz. Most of its weight is in the center, and it feels like cheap plastic. The official one has balanced weight and just feels more solid. The knockoff flashes blue when connecting instead of white.

But get this—the off-brand works on both PS4 and PS5. Even the real PS5 controller doesn’t work on a PS4 without an adapter, but this one just connects. That’s wild. Unfortunately, that compatibility comes at a price. No haptic feedback. No advanced PS5 features. In fact, the PS5 thought it was a PS4 controller, which makes sense now. Input lag was noticeable, and in fast-paced games like Rocket League, that matters. I also saw some drift and rigid movement.

Surprisingly, the touchpad does work, which I didn’t expect. And once, I even used it for half a Rocket League match before realizing it wasn’t my real controller.

Overall, would I recommend it? Probably not—at least not as your main controller. But for kids, guests, or as a cheap backup? It’s not the worst idea.
