Everything You Need to Know About a 7.3 Powerstroke in 2023 (Buying, Maintaining, Fixing, Etc.)

The 7.3 Powerstroke Diesel is arguably one of the best truck platforms ever built. People love their 7.3's. We do too, and that's why we run them for our landscaping business! They are commonly referred to as "legendary" motors, which they were for the first 10-15 years, but now are reaching a breaking point at 20+ years old. Parts breaking, non-stop oil leaks, fuel leaks, and other problems due to simply how old the truck is: these make them far from turn-key and go without being addressed. Leaking on a customer's driveway is not an option as a professional business. This video displays common issues and what to expect/look for on one of the trucks at this time period of 2023. Having a good attitude of realizing the truck is not new is probably the most important thing because things can and will break. We show you what does break, what to fix, how to smartly purchase a truck, and everything of that sort. The video is mostly directed at 99-03s, but the same concept applies to the OBS as well. Coming very soon in a video will be a full break down and walkthrough of how to get a 7.3 back up to speed so it can be reliable again.
