Join us on the court in Darwin, Australia for a 16‑minute training session that prepares us for upcoming ITF and national tournaments.
We start with 5‑minute segments of mini‑tennis, ¾‑court and mid‑court warm‑ups. These shorter‑court exercises help loosen the wrists, warm up the muscles and “switch on” the brain by forcing you to track the ball and coordinate quickly.
Next, we move to cross‑court forehand and backhand drills, then down‑the‑line (parallel) shots in the alley. Cross‑court and alternating drills develop footwork, ball control and tactical awareness , while playing in the alley tests precision and decision‑making.
We finish with focused volley practice to sharpen reaction time and touch at the net.
