The Grey or Common partridge is a species in serious decline, but the place to see and photograph them is Norfolk in the U.K.
Get away from the coast and the country lanes can be very quiet and the lack of hedgerows and farm gates means viewing the fields much easier to do.
As well as Grey partridge I also photograph the mad march Brown hares as they go about their courtship behaviour.
