Vlog 11 – Heat, Highway Hitchhiking & Low Morale on Trail ☀️🚗💣
This one was tough.
With soaring temps and steep climbs, I decided to hitch a section of highway to avoid a brutally hot and exposed stretch of dangerous walking with no shoulder. The heat was relentless, water was scarce, and the surrounding area had signs warning about land mines—not exactly the most comforting sight. Morale was low… but the mountain huts I passed through were absolutely beautiful and a much-needed reprieve.
Not every day on trail is fun, but they all make the journey real.
