This video focuses on Plato's dialogue, The Apology, and examines Socrates's metaphor of the horse and the gadfly, as an analogy for his relationship to the city of Athens. I also discuss the specific ways Socrates mentions by which he fulfills this role of provoking the citizens of the city of Athens towards the examined life.
