Whitewater Valley Railroad 50th Anniversary

Located in Connersville, Indiana, the Whitewater Valley Railroad is a non-profit tourist railroad that operates trains on the weekends. We chase the Valley Flyer, which is a 5 hour trip to Metamora, Indiana. Here, passengers get to shop and visit historic Metamora. We will also see the center cab switcher that was hosting trains out of Metamora on the morning of September 30th.
Power for the train is Lima LS-1000 #709. This is the first year in quite some time for this engine being operational. #70 was originally built in 1950.
2023 is the 50th anniversary of the Whitewater Valley. Fall trips are still available, and tickets can be purchased here!
