NSA Ajit Doval today delivered remarks at ‘Sardar Patel Lecture On Governance’. He said,'It is not sufficient to say that we have taken sufficient security measures. What is equally important is that we are able to make every Indian feel that he is secure, both from internal and external forces. While we can deal with them effectively as per the laws and as per the policies of the government but we can create the deterrence that can convince them credibly that we have got the will & strength to respond to any threat in a way & in a manner that we consider best for our national security'. He also said that terrorism in India has been effectively countered.
