The SMC Health GARE SEED Lab presents to you our first What the HEC episode of 2026, “Fortified commitment, New name!” As we begin a new year, we reflect with leaders across Health about their continued commitment to mitigate health disparities through systemic transformation efforts such as SMC Health’s Targeted Strategies: Improving Outcomes for All 4.0 Plan (also known as TS 4.0 and formerly SREAP). Using a review of 2025 as a guide, you will hear equity leaders share their thoughts on a changing political landscape and the impact on community (a “thorn) and what sustains their desire (a “rose”) to cultivate a culture of care and action.
